Five
Polish
Government press
officers took a fortnight's course, referred by the British
Council.
One of them wrote afterwards: "Our
course was perfectly organised and full of information and
practical
knowledge."
The
newly appointed head of communications for
Sanofi Winthrop
had four three-hour introductory sessions, describing them
afterwards as "an
absolute lifeline for someone in my position, being thrown
in
at the deep end".
Amanda
Succi, a public relations consultant from Sicily,
took a week's introductory course. Her colleague wrote:
"Amanda
came back brimming over with enthusiasm for you and what she
learned on the course and I know she feels she has benefited
enormously."
A
blind senior editor working for the Ethiopian
Ministry of Mines and Energy asked
us for a two-week introductory course. We had all his notes
transcribed into Braille, making special arrangements for accommodation
in London's main blind hostel and adjusting travel arrangements
where necessary. He wrote later: "I
am applying some practices like crisis management… Your training
will be supportive for my future so I appreciate it."
Viviana
Pennetta wanted to
enter public relations with some basic knowledge, so
took our Introduction
to Public Relations and Event Management Short Courses, saying
afterwards:
" Jane
is an absolute 'deep well' of knowledge
and experience that you just cannot get enough of! She
is also very down to earth and is full of support
and encouragement.
I felt I found my niche in only two days, thanks to a very
energetic and professional person. I will definitely
do another course with her."
Intelcam
(Cameroon's international telecommunications company) asked
for and received a five-week bi-lingual public relations
and
marketing course in French and English. The verdict was:
" An
excellent course, tailored to what we required."
